It is in practice in each guided tour that we do through the most emblematic places of Guayaquil.
Thanks to our Certified Tourist Guide, we will spend a pleasant time meeting new people and learning in detail each place visited on this tour.
Come, we are waiting for you together with the iguanas in the Parque Seminario, an emblematic site in the center of our beautiful city.
We will start our tour in the Parque Seminario, it is the oldest and most traditional park in the Pearl of the Pacific, also known as Parque de las Iguanas. This is the meeting and starting point towards our experience.
The view of the Cathedral will captivate us and we will have fun with the presence of the iguanas, used to taking pictures with tourists.
We move towards the Plaza de la Administración , where we will find an important part of the history of Guayaquil , the architecture will dazzle us.
We will continue walking along the Malecón 2000 , until we reach the "Las Peñas" neighborhood, this is where our city was born, there are 444 ascending steps that we will obviously climb to El Faro and, as the highest point, we will have a panoramic view of the city.
Surely we will be delighted to see one of the largest rivers in South America .
We end our tour in Puerto Santa Ana , a modern site with tourist and gastronomic attractions.
The sites to visit are the following:
- SEMINAR PARK (Park of the Iguanas).
- ADMINISTRATION SQUARE: Mariscal Sucre Monument, Grillón Building, Nahím Isaías Museum, La Fragua de Vulcano Monument, Municipal Palace, Government Building.
- MALECÓN 2000: Moorish Tower, Tower of the four elements (water, earth, air, fire), Paseo de los presidentes, Hemiciclo de la Rotonda (Monument to the South American heroes Simón Bolívar and José San Martín), Botanical Garden of the Malecón).
- SANTA ANA HILL: Lighthouse, Chapel, 360º view of the city.
- LAS PEÑAS NEIGHBORHOOD: Colonial sector where Guayaquil began.
- PUERTO SANTA ANA: Current building in Guayaquil.
If we still have energy, we will visit the Craft Market , visit Panama Street (an active place for restaurants and entertainment venues). Cocoa Museum ($5 for foreigners). La Merced and San Francisco Church
