Bruce, cuch an AMAZING guide. He made us laugh with funny and clever facts but also push us out of our comfort zone, by making us eat a BIG worm but always in a good place and with food safety (He brought us spoons, a great touch). Anyway, If you want to know the "real" food of Peru, outside of the fancy stuff, you should definitely go for it with him, it doesn't matter your budget, what matters is your attitude. I hope we find more guides like him, and good luck mate.

I’ve never taken a food tour so I didn’t know what to expect, this one was fantastic! Destroy is so informative, introducing us to fruits and food we’d never tried! He took us to his favourite spots, ones we’d never think of stopping at, the best of the best! He’s a great guy!

the tour was amazing! we tried variety of different things in non touristic places so we could actually see more of a local culture and honestly i’d never tried most of the things if i just walked alone bc i would miss most of the spots. great atmosphere. i’d definitely recommend one of the best tours i’ve ever taken.

Hello there, we are a foody couple from France and Serbia and we loooved the tour. It was super fun, Bruce really did a great job organizing it. We tried so many things, especially difitent typs of fruits that we probably would never even think of trying. We definitely tried all the important and popular dishes and we also heard a bit about Peruvian history and current social situation, which really fulfilled the experience. I really liked the blend of food and general tour and since Lima seems to be the gourmand capital of the Latin America it was absolutely wonderful idea to create a tour like this! Highly recommend it!
