San Salvario, a picturesque village in the center of Turin
Tour description
San Salvario
The San Salvario district extends between the Porta Nuova station and the Valentino Park. Today well known for the bistros and clubs that populate in the long Turin evenings, it is actually much more than the beating heart of the nightlife of our city.
The tour starts from the Porta Nuova station and develops in the streets of the neighborhood, passing through the tree-lined avenue of Corso Marconi, an ancient link between the Church of San Salvatore , which gave its name to this part of the city, and the fairytale Castle of Valentino. Walking through the park's centuries-old trees, we will reach the Rocky Garden and the medieval village.
The tour will end near the Colosseum Theater, where it will be possible to admire some curious examples of Street Art.
