"Vertical" candlelight tour visiting an ancient tower house in the Upper Town - Bergamo

Romantic "vertical" tour by candlelight in an ancient private tower house in the Upper Town, historic center of Bergamo, a residence that has belonged to my family for many generations. From the ground floor, of medieval origins, we will reach the top two floors via stairs and landings, touching the historical evolution of the building, but also of the city of Bergamo itself. We will then immerse ourselves in the atmosphere of the interiors, lit as they used to do with candles in the past, a unique experience that will allow us to get to know, live, habits and lifestyles of the past. You will see ornaments, furniture, paintings and collections ranging from the Renaissance to the early years of the last century. During the visit I will tell you anecdotes and curiosities about Bergamo and how life flowed in it in the past. You will feel like you are reliving the times that were in the first person, surrounded by objects and family heirlooms, an experience that will make you love our beautiful city and its most secret peculiarities even more. Finally, from the windows overlooking the top floor, while the view will range over the roofs, the underlying lower town and the profile of the Orobic Pre-Alps, we will be able to conclude our "vertical" tour in style by sipping, always by candlelight, a "grappino" typical Bergamo liqueur, a pomace brandy made from grapes produced and vinified exclusively in Italy.
