I am Maria Jose and I come from the south, from Jaén, land of olive trees and oil. I studied in Granada the upper cycle of Guide, Information and Tourist Assistance, and after doing the internship in La Alhambra, I knew that I wanted to dedicate myself to this. I love to travel, discover new cities, cultures, and customs, that's why I came to Salamanca to work. I fell in love with this World Heritage city and I would love to live a good season here. To be a tourist guide for me is to make the tourist feel at home, not only telling their history and culture but connecting with people along the walk. Illuminated Salamanca is a tour where you will discover one of the most beautiful moments of this magical city, its sunset and dusk.

Salamanca is popularly known as the Golden City, due to the beautiful color that the Piedra de Villamayor offers to its picturesque streets.
The ideal time to enjoy the city is with a tour in the late afternoon or with the illumination of the buildings at dusk.
On the tour we will pass through the main points of tourist interest, such as the heart of Salamanca, its Plaza Mayor, Cathedrals, Casa de las Conchas, Puente Romano and Casa Lis.
