Tour description

Here is the itinerary of the «Tour of the historical quarter of Jerez » :

1º Plaza del Arenal (Arenal Square): The main square of Jerez outside of the city wall. 

Iglesia de San Miguel (the Church of St. Michael): A magnificent temple located in one of the flamenco neighbourhoods of Jerez.

3º Alcázar (Moorish Castle) : The most ancient and emblematic monument of the city.

4º Catedral de San Salvador (Cathedral of the St. Saviour): An impressive religious temple constructed over the site of the main mosque.

5º Plaza de la Asunción (Assumption Square): One of the highlights of Jerez where we can admire as many as 6 styles of architecture.

6º Plaza Plateros (Silversmiths Square): Commercial and industrial centre of medieval Jerez.

7º Plaza Rafael Rivero: Enhanced by beautiful homes of the nobility built in the 18th and 19th Centuries.

8º Alameda Cristina (Christina Boulevard): The bridge between modern and medieval Jerez at the exit of one of the main gates of the city wall.
