Tour description
Rome develops in a period of approximately 1200 years, beginning with Romulus the first founding king according to myth, a plot organized because of tyranny will lead to the death of the seventh and last king (Tarquinius Superbus), thus opening the doors to the Roman Republic in which the absolute power taken from the kings would no longer be administered by a single individual, only after five centuries would absolute power return to a single individual and his name is Augustus the emperor.
In the Imperial Age, cruel persecutions of Christians began, a triumphal arch in front of the Colosseum dedicated to the triumphs of Emperor Constantine who made Christianity official and the Romans began to be persecuted by the same Christians, in the Imperial Age, Rome discovered what we know today as cement and that knowledge allowed them to make a leap with the ability to build one of the 7 wonders of the world.
The Flavian Amphitheatre (Roman Coliseum) which in turn covered a terrible memory left by the previous emperor called Nero, accused of the great fire of 64 AD. The Roman Coliseum was built on his Domus Aurea (home) right on the lagoon thanks to the emperor Vespasian Flavius.
