I am a hard-working, responsible person and I love the work I do Inform and interpret my routes or tourist visits. He differentiated me from the other tourist guides in two things, one is: that I behave as I am (I am myself) and second, because my routes or visits are not like the normal ones that explain a monument or any tourist resource, if not , which apart from that, I explain and if I can also teach, the secrets that my locality hides, such as Linares (Jaén), such as a mining Church that is closed to the public (and I ask permission not to open them), a mining gallery, etc.

Tour description

Free Historical Cultural Tour of the city of Baeza.

Baeza is a World Heritage City, a Renaissance city through and through, a town with a lot of history. We will take you on a tour that you will never forget.

We will start the Free Tour in the Plaza de la Constitución where a brief introduction to the history of the city will be given.
Throughout our tour you will delve into the pure and hard history of Baeza, from its origins to the present day. Where you can learn about La Fuente del Populo, which comes from the ancient Ibero-Roman city of Cástulo or why part of the ancient wall of the Alcázar of Baeza was destroyed.
You will be able to understand why the location or place of the Upper Town Hall was changed from Plaza de Santa María or why the Bell Tower of the Baeza Cathedral is not ancient, but from modern times.
We will contemplate the ancient Romanesque ruins of the Church of San Juan Bautista. We cannot forget the famous VITORES, which are painted on the walls of the old San Felipe Neri Seminary or the fact that the Church of the Santa Cruz is in the Romanesque style, which is unusual in Andalusia. You cannot leave without seeing the Jabalquinto Palace , the Old University of Baeza (where the famous writer Antonio Machado taught), without forgetting the Arco del Barbudo and finally we will have to observe the Torre de los Aliatares.
Are you going to miss the opportunity to visit this World Heritage Jewel? Don't hesitate and visit it with our guide, you won't regret it.

- To be able to carry out the Free Tour, a minimum of 4 people would be needed.
