To put it in a nutshell,I´m said to be an open-minded and easy-going person passionate about languages and broadening her horizons. Otherwise I´m an interpreter (EN, FR, CS) / translator and a fully trained tour guide. Though originally based in Prague, I´ve been living in Paris for some time already. I´d never say I know all her secrets – the better, beauty can´t do without a bit of mysterious touch. Anyway, I suffer from natural curiosity and I really enjoy getting know better the places where I live and sharing this passion with others, showing visitors around... Furthermore, this gives me a unique insight of a local and assimilated foreigner at the same time. Last but not least, I never manage to squeeze me in these short descriptive sections - better to meet in person!
Let´s do simple math: take Paris, being known as the City of Lights, and raise all its lights to the Christmas lights and decoration. The result is absolutely stunning. I´m Katerina and it´s my pleasure to invite you for a walk through Paris at its most sparkly.
Regardless how or whether we celebrate it, we should admit that Christmas time is a special period of the year. As soon as dusk comes, the streets of the already glamorous city get an extra sparkle. Close your eyes and imagine lovely garlands of lights, trees dressed in blinking robe, meticulously arranged shop windows by which not only children are astonished... Hmmm, anyone smell cinnamon? More than that - dozens of other Christmas-related flavours since the feast is in the air and one of the charming Christmas markets nearby!
Discover Christmas in Paris, learn about French festive traditions and food, marvel at decorations and stroll through many places off the beaten path!
During the tour, we´ll explore together some iconic sights of Paris as well as places popular among locals, but often hidden to the eyes of tourists, all wrapped up nicely in Christmas robe.

Madeleine – by the church (métro 8, 12, 14). We´ll meet up on the stairs leading to the front portal of the church facing Rue Royale towards Place de la Concorde. You can find me easily thanks to my owlie guiding sign.
