Free Tour of Kibera Slum "Chocolate City"

Kibera slum is one of the largest slum in the world. A place dubbed as "Chocolate City" which is generally a valley with shanty houses, so interesting to visit. 

Our way of life is termed as "survival for the fittest". The most common places in kibera to visit are Olympic, Kibera Art District, Kamkunji, Gatwekera, Lang'ata and Soweto among others.
From the pick up point at Equity Bank kibera, we will walk through the Kibera Arts Distric  to towards the Chief's office passing one of the Oldest primary school to Kamkunji grounds witnessing the oldest railway track still in use.

We will see the aerial view of the slum as we learn facts about how kibera and how it came into existence and people's way of life.
We will walk through the slum alleys and experience creativity in this vibrant neighbourhood. We will witness basic life in the slum and learn how certain wants like electricity, water and sewer lines are  carried out. 

We will also get to learn about social amenities such as school and health care.
You will be amazed by the talent and great minds from this slum. We will see different kinds of business opportunities meant for survival within the slum.
