Hello! I'm Rafa, a historian and tour guide since 2013. I was previously a guide in Barcelona and Prague, but I've been living in Berlin for 4 years now. I love my job and I'm passionate about history, especially about this crazy city. With me you can expect an entertaining and complete tour, but without hiding the horrors of the country's history. Don't let me say it, you can see the recommendations of other tourists in the reviews 🙌🏻 I will make the city mean much more than a succession of grey monuments and empty recommendations. You will leave with more than just a tour, I give you a digital guide of personal recommendations, including books, movies and a map of Berlin to get the most out of it! If you want to follow my adventures, I recommend following me on social media @rafaberlintours
Discover the dark and sad history of Berlin with the help of a guide with years of experience who will know how to captivate you and bring the city to life!
Learn about Berlin's origins - the rise and fall of the Nazis, the subjugation of half the city to the communist rule of Moscow and its liberation and unification just 30 years ago - through its most important monuments!
The walking tour covers a route full of history and interesting points in 3.5 hours, including a break. It is the perfect way to get your feet wet in Berlin and get to know the most important things before looking for more specific topics. It is a MUST for newcomers!
Monuments to be visited:
...and several more stops that I prefer to tell you about in person! ;)
You can rate my work at your discretion. I know I do my job well, I trust you, so you don't pay a cent until the very end of the tour!
In addition to all of the above, I will be giving attendees my free recommendations for restaurants, bars, clubs, movies, books, series and tips for visiting Berlin that I have been compiling for a long time!
You will have a great time and learn a lot. Bring good shoes and a coffee, and enjoy!
See you on the tour! ;)
Ps I appreciate the comments you leave me! They help me a lot!
Ps 2 if anyone wants to sign up or get information about any of my other tours (Third Reich, Wall and Communism, Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, Potsdam, etc... just ask! :)

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
