Hi! I'm Rafa, a historian and tour guide since 2013. I previously worked as a guide in Barcelona and Prague, but I've been living in Berlin for the last four years. I love my job and I'm passionate about history, especially the history of this crazy city. With me, you can expect an entertaining and comprehensive tour, but one that doesn't shy away from the horrors of the country's past. Don't just take my word for it—you can see other tourists' recommendations in the reviews 🙌🏻 I'll make the city mean much more to you than just a string of drab monuments and empty recommendations. You'll leave with more than just a tour; I'll give you a digital guide with personal recommendations, including books, films, and a map of Berlin to help you make the most of your time! If you'd like to follow my adventures, I recommend following me on Instagram @rafaberlintours

Tour description
For 28 years, a wall ran through houses, families, and routines. This tour is not about political blocs, but about how life was in a city split in two and what traces that division left behind.
In 1945, Germany was divided and would not regain its sovereignty and unified state until 1990. The sins of Nazism were not fully paid for decades, with the division of a country, its people, and their families.
The tour is conducted at a leisurely pace with a beer break halfway through!
Through real stories, we understand how divided Berlin functioned, how the wall was crossed (or not), and what its fall meant for ordinary people.
It is not a technical or political tour, but a human one. I will tell you, and you will decide your verdict on History.
