Exceptional! Loved Daniela’s enthusiasm and personal experience from living and working in each of Lisbons neighbors. We had a quick stop at her favorite little place for a wonderful chocolate cup/liqueur. Outstanding! So appreciate being left with a list of places to eat and enjoy after the tour. Not too long . Lots packed in . Lots of recommendations. Francisco was humourous, knowledgeable and charming. Bumping into the president was a bonus though ! Don’t look any further , you won’t be disappointed.

Antonio was an awesome guide! We walked and saw all the sights for 3 hours. Great experience. Antonio was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of local recommendations too.

We have done many GuruWalks before, but Francisco truly stands out. We absolutely loved his sense of humor! He’s a true local, and he managed to teach us so much about the history, people, and culture of Lisbon while keeping us laughing the entire way. We got incredibly lucky with a small group, which made it so easy to walk around, ask questions, and really dive into his stories. To top it all off, he introduced us to delicious pastel de nata and Ginja Cherry liqueur. If you want a tour that is as educational as it is genuinely funny, book with Francisco!

We spent a lovely day with Telma climbing the hills of Lisboa. The walk was very entertaining. Telma knows her city and the history very well. We even did some singing, a great way to spend a couple hours!

I’ve had amazing time discovering history of Portugal and Lisbon itself with Joana. She was very into the details and funny. We had around 30 people in the tour. So they made it smart and split people between two groups and 2 guides basically. Highly recommended.

We have seen beautiful corners, streets and details of Alfama. we enjoyed very much the stories, told in interesting and entairtaning way. Learned a lot! There was enough time to ask questions, pace was just right! We really had a good time with Mirjam's tour!

Excellent free guided tour of the Alfama (Old Town) district of Lisbon. You need to be reasonably fit as the walk entails a bit of uphill walking and steps, but we are two "oldies" in our 70's and we managed. Do the walk - it's so interesting and full of history.

Daniela was an amazing tour guide! She was enthusiastic and engaging the entire time. It’s a well paced tour that takes you on so many stops in downtown Lisbon. Daniela goes above and beyond and asks everyone what their personal interests are and tries to incorporate facts into the tour. She even stayed a little later so she could tell us a story we were curious about. On top of that she sends everyone a guide with her best recommendations. She is a very talented guide!

Antonio’s free walking tour of Lisbon with tasting is one not to be missed! Over 3 hours we walked to all the places & viewpoints I doubt you would find on your own while regaling our small group with stories of Portugal’s past & its infamous characters. I’m sure you’d have trouble finding anyone more warm & engaging than Antonio to run a tour like this & he’ll also give you some great recommendations to ensure the rest of your stay in Lisbon & beyond is perfect! We’re so glad we found him on Guru Walk & BTW, that warm, yummy Portugese tart with cinnamon topping he bought for us all was just the best!!
