Because I have two Tours, it is convenient to ask for times because you can start later or earlier.
The route can last 2 to 3 hours depending on how much you want to visit, since the Castle and Museum are optional. The entrance price for both is €1.

One of those places that may catch your attention the most is Biar.
Biar is a charming inland town, surrounded by several mountain ranges, easily accessible from the Madrid-Alicante highway. With a multitude of accommodations and a varied cultural, heritage, nature,... and not only that, legends, anecdotes, popular festivals, gastronomy...
In this case, Biar has everything to have a totally satisfactory experience when traveling and sightseeing.
The proposed route that usually interests people interested in discovering Biar, consists of:
- Beginning and introduction of Biar in Plaza del Ayuntamiento . The fountain that we find in the main square as a meeting place. In the square you will learn the first details of the town of Biar, the town hall and the Church of the Assumption.
- Visit to the Church of the Assumption and Communion Chapel. Churrigueresque style chapel, one of the most representative examples of the Valencian Community.
- From there we will go to the house of six loaves where we will learn about the legend of the Virgin of the Assumption.
- We will continue towards the street that takes us to the hermitage of San Roque and the arch of Xátiva.
- We will begin the climb towards the castle viewing the remains of the old Christian wall.
- We will arrive at the castle , which we will know completely, from its door to the views on the terrace, with all its legends, history and characters that left their mark on it. (Entry price €1)
- We will descend through some of the cobblestone streets full of flowers and pots that make Biar so beautiful , discovering part of its fountains and details.
- We will return to the Town Hall Square to enter the ethnographic museum (optional) and learn about all the traditions, customs and culture of the Biarense population.
- We will continue towards Plaza de España along Calle Mayor , getting to know the nineteenth-century houses, the tradition of the festivals and "La Muhammad".
- From Plaza de España we will go to the "Del Plantain" walk, appreciating the more than two centuries old platanus orientalis.
- We will go up the street towards the sanctuary of the Mare de Deu de Grácia , learning about the history and tradition of its descent to the church, the cellar or snowfield and culminating our visit with the magnificent views from the Sanctuary, and the possibility of seeing it inside if will be found open.
