Hello, my name is Charlotte, I am Franco-Belgian, a graduate of tourism in Belgium and I have lived in Palma since 2014. I have worked throughout Europe receiving, informing and guiding travelers from all over the world speaking languages such as French, English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or German. For me, being a guide is more than a job: it is a passion that I share! I love sharing with people, be it a good plate of food, magical moments or recommendations of all kinds. I would like to share with you the history of this pearl of the Mediterranean as well as my experiences and anecdotes to make this guided tour a different and interesting experience, meeting a French-speaking resident of the Balearic Islands.
Discover the centre of Palma and its history with Charlotte , a smiling French tour guide with a touch of Belgian humour.
A pleasant, dynamic and interesting visit discovering all the essentials of the city protected by a bat.
We will walk through the old town passing by the Plaza Mayor , the Jewish quarter and important monuments such as the church where the first king of Mallorca was crowned to end in the area of our imposing Cathedral of the sea, the "Seu".
We will also talk about gastronomy, discovering some typical products of the island and their origins.
I will tell you where to find the best and most traditional ensaimadas as well as the best ice cream in the city (and perhaps on the island!).
A visit spiced with anecdotes, legends and tips to share:
- tapas, museums and free visits , places to see on the island, beaches , hikes in the Tramuntana mountains, ...
Tell me your expectations and what you want to see and I will help you with whatever you need.
I adapt to the needs of each group (minimum 4 people) so do not hesitate to contact me for more information and to organize your personalized tour.
In case of rain, the tour will be cancelled and we will try to find another time to do it.
We'll meet on the Rambla, down the stairs that go up to the Plaza Mayor; find me with a green flower in my hair next to the stone sculpture
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
