Hello, my name is Charlotte, I am Franco-Belgian, a graduate of tourism in Belgium and I have lived in Palma since 2014. I have worked throughout Europe receiving, informing and guiding travelers from all over the world speaking languages such as French, English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or German. For me, being a guide is more than a job: it is a passion that I share! I love sharing with people, be it a good plate of food, magical moments or recommendations of all kinds. I would like to share with you the history of this pearl of the Mediterranean as well as my experiences and anecdotes to make this guided tour a different and interesting experience, meeting a French-speaking resident of the Balearic Islands.
I invite you to walk through the old town of Palma in the company of Charlotte, a tourist guide in love with the island who will share its "secrets" as well as historical information about the island and visits to do in Palma and its surroundings.
The visit will end with a tasting of some local wine accompanied from a vegan tapa or the delicious dish of the day, two options made with local ingredients and with lots of love.
During our visit, we will enter the labyrinth of alleys full of surprises, architectural details, passing by historical monuments, the Jewish quarter , the Templar quarter , ...
We will also discover some emblematic characters who lived on the island. One in particular, a great thinker of the medieval period who marked History in various ways.
A pleasant , dynamic and interesting visit with all the essentials of the city protected by a bat.
A visit spiced with anecdotes, legends and tips to make the most of our beautiful island.
I adapt to the needs of each group (minimum 3 people).
Different possible options.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with your expectations and I will help you with whatever you need.
In case of rain, the tour will be cancelled and we will try to find another time to do it.
Meet me at the Plaza del Mercat, in front of the old "Grand Hotel", where the kiosk is. I will have a flower in my hair.
Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
