Free tour Brussels European Quarter
Tour description
Discover with us the history and all the secrets of the EU in its capital.
Mundistour invites you to join an essential tour to learn about the history, functioning and most emblematic buildings of the European Union . And what better way to do it than in the capital of this organization.
Brussels, in addition to the capital of Belgium, is also the unofficial capital of the EU and where most buildings dedicated to this organization are located. What's more, Brussels has a neighborhood in the center of the city called " the European neighborhood ", and it is not by chance, but because everything there revolves around the organization.
Our tour will begin at the central train station and we will first go to the Ravenstein Galleries , hundreds of Belgians cross them daily to go to their government work. Right in front we find the Royal Park , which in addition to being the lung of the city, divides the political center in two ; on one side, Belgian power and on the other, European power .
We will begin to see embassies and also, if we look at the buildings, dozens of lobbies , which exert their influence in this city. We will quickly reach one of the most symbolic buildings of the EU, the European Parliament , a place of popular representation of the Union. Behind it is the Leopold Park and the Museum of European History .
In the final part of our tour we will see such important buildings as the European Commission , the European Council or the Press Palace . We will end our tour in another of the impressive places in Brussels: the Fiftieth Anniversary Park and its monument dedicated to the country's independence.
Come and discover the ins and outs of one of the most important organisms in the world with us.
