We begin the tour in the beautiful Church of San Lesmes , on the Camino de Santiago , where I will explain the origins of the city and its decisive role in the Reconquista.
After a short walk, we will arrive at the majestic Casa del Condestable , where I will tell you the secrets hidden in the symbols on the façade and the personalities that met inside.
Next we will go to the Plaza del Cid, where we will talk about the Castilian hero and his role in 11th century Castile. We will also visit the Teatro Principal and walk along the Espolón, an elegant Burgos boulevard.
We will arrive at the Arco de Santamaría , where we will discover the Burgos warning to King Carlos I hidden in its figures and we will visit the interior of the old medieval tower.
The tour continues with a visit to the Flycatcher , the famous bell ringer of the Cathedral , and his assistant Martinillo. We will be on time to see it "in action".
We will finish the tour enjoying the impressive image that the Puerta de Santamaría of the Burgos Cathedral and its spiers leave us.
