Hello, my name is Enrique and I work as a tour guide in Valencia. It is an honor to show the city to visitors who later become friends. I consider myself an open-minded person and I like to be with people from other countries. I would appreciate if reservations are made 24 hours in advance. Deadline for registration 3 hours before the start of the tour. In case of not being able to attend, contact me. Thank you for reading!
*Activity available on Thursdays. For other days, please check in the message box.
** The maximum waiting time is 5 minutes.
Welcome to the Calatrava Free Tour!
Our first stop in the City of Arts and Sciences is the "Principe Felipe" Science Museum. Here we enjoy its architecture and learn about its construction.
The Hemisferic cinema complex showcases cultural and scientific productions.
The Reina Sofia Palace of the Arts is an ambassador of classical music and opera. Works such as Thurandot, Don Giovanni and La Traviata have been performed here. Conductors such as Lorin Maazel and Zubin Mehta have also performed here.
The "l'Agora" building is a multi-purpose complex that currently offers various types of exhibitions.
The last but not least part of "the City" is the "Umbracle" , a winter garden where we see examples of Mediterranean nature: trees, bushes and flowers and the main summer terrace, where you can meet "beautiful people".

Free tours do not have a set price, instead, each person gives the guru at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (these usually range from €10 to $50 depending on satisfaction with the tour).
