Tour description
Minimum 3 walkers per Reservation.
WHAT IS EARTH WATER HISTORY AND ART: PUERTO MADERO + ECOLOGICAL RESERVE?
Puerto Madero is the neighborhood where the modernism of glazed skyscrapers is intertwined with lush nature. It is where they arrived by boat and immigrants from all over the world were housed, between cranes and old warehouses. It is where fabulous frigates, bridges and monuments coexist with museums full of history and art; the place where old dikes and new parks make their way through the streets full of tributes to the women who made the country great. Puerto Madero and its Ecological Reserve is the place where the breeze of the widest river in the world gives us unique views and unforgettable evenings.
WHERE IS EARTH WATER HISTORY AND ART: PUERTO MADERO + ECOLOGICAL RESERVE?
We start crossing the dike of the sailboats, between gigantic sculptures of sailors, taxi drivers, flowers and even the nail monument! We visited the incredible German brewery Munich of 1927. We walked through huge parks to discover the ride of the cartoon and Street Art! We follow the route between old cranes, power plants and recycled flour mills that tell us their stories and give way to the imposing Puente de la Mujer. We also stroll along the Costanera Sur, the popular spa of the early twentieth century, finishing at the monumental Fountain of the Nereids, by Lola Mora. The golden brooch (if the weather allows it): a relaxed walk through the Ecological Reserve to explore it and contemplate the city from a different point of view.
