Minho Free Walking Tours owes its name to the region where it operates: Minho, the North West of Portugal. At the moment we have tours available in the cities of Braga and Guimarães and we only work with local guides. In that, we are the only ones who work like this 😊 We love our region and our people! We are also the first in the city of Braga. This company started in 2016, with 2 History teachers and now we have a cooperative of guides, so we also do personalised tours and tours for travel agencies. We have in our team resident professionals linked to different areas of knowledge, such as History, Urbanism, Heritage and Archaeology.

A 2h15 tour where you will learn more about the history of Braga and Portugal as you walk through its ancient, winding streets and see the most important monuments and sights. Hear the legends, myths and stories of everyday life in Portugal's oldest city. See how the locals enjoy their life and get a lovely local perspective! On this free tour you will see the must-see monuments and places, and that includes, of course, the imposing Braga Cathedral and the Santa Barbara Garden .

Don't forget to bring a good mood to have a good time and don't be afraid to ask questions about Braga or Portugal. And you can also ask us to teach you Portuguese expressions! Bring comfortable shoes and a good jacket for our winter (October-February).
