We had an incredible time on Maria’s Highlights of Milan & Italian Coffee Culture walking tour. It was our first time in Milan, and this tour was the perfect introduction to the city. Maria is a fantastic guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about both Milan and its coffee culture. As coffee lovers, we thought we knew a lot, but we were pleasantly surprised to learn some fascinating new things about Italian coffee traditions. The free coffee samples were a real treat, and we also had the chance to try some incredible specialty coffees, which were well worth the small extra cost. Beyond coffee, Maria shared excellent insights into Milan’s history and must-visit spots, along with fantastic recommendations for food, drinks, and gelato—we tried several and loved them all! If you're visiting Milan, we highly recommend this tour. It’s a wonderful blend of culture, history, and, of course, amazing coffee!

Maria's tour is incredibly unique. I have attended over a dozen tours in various cities around the world, but this was the first one where the tour guide combined history with going through different cafes for coffee! They were not random cafes either, Maria explained the significance of them and the cup coffee we were about to have. We walked around Milan and found out about various places, the historical aspect and the modern one too! She was very knowledgable when I asked her questions. She truly loves the city, and helps you fall in love with it even more.

Maria Lourdes truly is an exceptional guide. She made sure to provide us with information and history including amusing fun facts and curiosities. She took us coffee tasting and even provided us with a discount when purchasing coffee at one of the leading establishments whilst with the tour. She is a lovely guide and the 3 hours flew. She jam packed the tour and it is a truly wonderful experience both for the coffee lovers as well as history aficionados alike. Maria was incredibly informative, and the tour was both engaging and enjoyable. Despite lasting three hours, it never felt tiring. We had the chance to try four different types of coffee, and Maria also recommended some excellent spots for food. Beyond the coffee experience, she shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of Milan, making the tour truly memorable.

I love the fact that Maria took the trouble to WhatsApp me with the details prior to the start of the tour and answered few questions I had via WhatsApp. The highlight of the entire tour is definitely the coffee experience, which I enjoyed very much. What a great introduction to Milan! Our guide Maria had chosen key locations to share her vast knowledge of the history of Milan. She presented the information in a clear , entertaining style. Along the way we visited several different coffee shops where we learnt so much about the Italian coffee culture and got to taste various types of coffee. I was an amazing Tour. Maria loves Milano and Coffee and you can tell that. She knows a lot of the history of the city and mentioned inside tips here and there. The coffee spots are hidden gems and Maria recommended how and what to order. You'll get a nice list full of lovely coffee shops and restaurants at the end. Overall I had a wonderful afternoon and met nice people. I highly recommend this tour!
