Very enjoyable your, would definitely recommend this type of tour if visiting the fortress so that you get an understanding of how it was built and how it evolved over the centuries.

We greatly enjoyed our visit to the Alcazaba. Our guide gave us a very engaging history lesson and answered all our questions. Thanks to Free Tours Andalucia for notifying us about the rain alert for tomorrow and allowing us to do the tour today.

It turned out to be a private tour for 2, and our guide gave an animated presentation to re-create the times when the structures were built, battles were fought, etc.

Monica was ok but not great. Other tour guides are better at engaging the tour, getting facts across and keeping interest up

I thought this tour was fantastic. Gloria was super expressive and informative. She takes you on a tour of the Alcazaba and explains the conquest and defense of the fortress. Since you go into the Alcazaba you have to pay the €3.50 entry fee for that. Not sure if that was in the original tour description or not. Totally worth it though to go with an informative guide who can help bring to life and put into context what you are looking at. Disappointed we didn't go for a wine together afterwards.

The tour was full of interesting details about the history of the city and its roman and muslim past. The guide was very passionate and answered all our questions. An essential visit to understand Málaga's historical legacy.
