Free Walking Tours through the Alfama Lisboa

This was the highlight of our week stay in Lisbon. Graham was AMAZING!!!! He was knowledgeable and very entertaining. He was attentive to everyone’s needs. His attention to details made it extremely enjoyable. We would recommend this walking tour, especially with Fraga. I wish he could guide us through the rest of Portugal. We will be sure to take more tours like this through Portugal if they are available where we travel.

This tour was great. Telma was our guide and she's amazing! I really recommend her, she's an artist, too. The stories, the places, and the experiences were really nice. Portugal became better with this tour!

Fantastic tour! I am a regular user of Free tours and I can honestly say this one was one of the best I’ve done. Daniela was super knowledgeable about the history of Lisboa and answered our questions promptly. She made the whole experience super fun taken us to little gems where we ate and drank specialities of the area made by the locals such as dona Emilia who makes traditional cod cakes! Overall superb! I will recommend to anyone who comes to Lisboa ❤️

On the GURU site this tour was listed as "good". I would say it was an excellent overview of Alfama and highlighted the spots we were most interested in...nice viewpoints of the city and several churches.

This is a must if it’s your first time in Lisbon. You really get an overview of the important history that shaped the city, a look at the main neighborhoods, monuments and attractions, and tips on how to make the most of your stay. Our guide, João, was entertaining, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. We would highly recommend him and this tour.

This tour was fantastic! I would highly recommend it. This was my second Guru Walk tour and it was wonderful. It is more personalzed than a standard tour. Each person makes it their own. Telma was AMAZING!! She was knowledgable, friendly, entertaining, and helpful. I would 100% recommend a tour with this company - and be sure to ask for Telma for the best tour!!

Really enjoyed the tour. Maria was very knowledgeable and offered visitor ‘tips’ along the way. Gave each of us yummy pastel de nata pastries. Provided lists of places to go and see after the tour. Very happy that we took the tour.
