Free walking tours in Jodhpur

This was a brilliantly organised and structured tour. Manu kindly changed up the tour according to what we wanted to prioritise seeing and what we had already visited in Jodhpur. So we ended up only visiting places which were new to us. It was very interesting and really good fun. I would really recommend this tour if you want to get an insight into the history of the blue city/old town, how people lived there in the past and the present day. We also got to see the fort from a viewpoint which made for a great picture during the golden hour just before sunset. We visited a temple also which was just as sunset happened and it was beautiful and the prayers were taking place inside the temple during this time, it was perfect and great timing! Many of these places we would not have found without being on this tour, it completely made our trip to Jodhpur!

It was an amazing morning! Today was truly wonderful, spent time with such a remarkable person. I've never met anyone as enthusiastic as Kumar. The way he showed us the heritage of Jodhpur was unforgettable.

We were guided around Jodhpur with guide Yogesh (yogi) and it was our best experience so far! The route of the heritage walk really shows you a lot, from city to culture and people to food. It was very nice to hear the guide tell about the city, its history and his own family ann life so passionately. Our guide also arranged for the rickshaw we wanted to take and got us a fair price. We did not have to think about anything and got to enjoy all the best Jodhpur has to offer.

He is a real local person, who knows every nooks and crannies of the area. And he guided us in such a gentle and natural manner that we didn’t feel that he is a guide. He explains, leads, guides and protects us, but not boasts nor shows off. So we felt very relaxed walking with him.. a shanti, peaceful local man. We recommend you to go with him if you want to explore the goodness and ancient joy of Jodhpur the Blue City. You will find yourself being a part of the blue city as we were.

It was nice experience with Ashok. He explained detailed history. We had a good time walking through blue city and have nice view of sunset and mandor garden visit.

We had a wonderful morning in the company of Harday.He is a such nice guy and guide! He has a huge knowledge about the city, culture and customs.I did lots of questions and I loved to hear every single story. It was a nice walk through the blue city and I highly recommend this guided tour! We can enjoy much more of the city after learn with Harday. Thank you for this amazing experience!!
