Tour focuses on the most interesting and necessary parts of each monument. So if you’re not deeply invested in history, this tour is for you. Easy and fun to follow along with
Not a bad tour and hit most of the important primary tourist spots of Rome. But that’s what it was: all the touristy spots. Nothing niche and uniqu. The tour guide lacked English proficiency and fluency to explain certain pieces of history and it became boring and hard to follow at times. Otherwise, not a bad introductory tour. But not the best.
John made the tour a perfect combo of history and site seeing. We spent the first 30-60 minutes talking about history and certain monumental moments of Valencia, and then final hour really getting to see the city in its modern form. I am no history guru and usually get bored, but John was great and had me intrigued the whole time!
The tour was very heavy on the history (definitely for you if you are interested in that). Less site seeing and more history. This wasn’t necessarily bad and the guide was very very knowledgeable, I was just hoping to see more of the city.
We had a very calm, slow-paced, and interesting walk through the most important parts of Porto. It was a great mix of history, architecture, modern history/neighborhoods, and local recommendations. Raquel, our tour guide, had so much information to share with us and I really enjoyed how excited she was to show my group around the city. It really makes a difference when the tour guide is invested in their job and joyful about it!
