Francesco is a great tour leader and guide. He is charismatic and knowledgeable about the history of Venice. He told us interesting stories about some unusual places of Venice. Highly recommended!
Francesco was very funny, knowledgeable and sweet. Absolutely loved the tour and learned so many things about Venice (it was my second time in the city, but learnt things I haven't heard before).
This is one of the best tours I’ve taken in Venice!! Francesco is knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging. I really liked how he encouraged questions and discussion. His presentation style is perfect for me - he repeated important points during the walk and encouraged dynamic feedback about what we were seeing/talking about, to ensure that we understood and were getting everything we wanted from this walk. We walked in places that I, as a tourist, would never have thought to go. I ended this tour with having learned a lot about Venice - not just some glossy overview with tips on where to get the best gelato, or “best view” for a picture. Quite honestly, I felt as though I were a student of his history class and that we were on a workshop/field trip!! FIVE STAR RATING!!!
