Andre was great - kept it light with good commentary without losing the nuance of the history of the places we visited.
Jorge was very learned, informative and funny! We enjoyed his tour a lot and learned some good intro to Porto! We also went to his recommended resto for lunch and it was perfect - Brasao! We ate Francescinha, Porto Tonic and Bacalhao, Pastoes de Nata! We also took his reco to visit the Cathedral. do Porto. We got some Bifana in the resto infront of the Cathedral. We also took his reco to cross the Luis Bridge. We dis and we were able to walk check out the river front of Gaia as well. to Gaia. Thanks very much Jorge! From the couple from Philippines!
The tour was just what we hoped for, introducing us to the city and some of its highlights. André was a great guide. He was engaging, personable, knowledgeable, and a great story-teller. We took his recommendation for a post-tour restaurant -- where André also works (he made that clear when suggesting the restaurant) -- and he even served us food and drinks while continuing to answer more of our questions. Definitely a fun, worthwhile experience!
