Sono una viaggiatrice solitaria che vive ad Amsterdam da 29 anni e dal 2011 faccio da guida turistica. Amo condividere la bellezza della città di Amsterdam con i turisti e sono anche la fondatrice di un blog di viaggi. Trascorro il mio tempo libero scrivendo delle mie avventure, come i viaggi in solitaria in Tanzania e Kenya, le immersioni con gli squali balena in Thailandia e il mio percorso per diventare istruttrice subacquea a Bali. Viaggiare e immergersi in altre culture, comprendendone stili di vita e prospettive, è il pilastro mancante nei nostri sistemi educativi. Credo che viaggiare debba essere un'esperienza di immersione culturale. Costruire ponti tra paesi e culture, nel rispetto delle reciproche differenze, non solo avvantaggia il viaggiatore, ma anche le comunità ospitanti.

Pilar was really iconic!! We enjoyed the tour a lot and it was really informative and we don't think we would have had the same eyes going through this area of Amsterdam without her knowledge about the history. She really delivered the right message to raise awareness about this industry! Highly recommend to do a guided tour through this neighbourhood of Amsterdam!
