Great tour. Great guide. Great food. Come hungry. Was get. Highly recommend.
This tour is NOT FREE. THE GUIDE ASKED US TO PAY 500K EACH!!! Supposedly the 500k was to cover the food we ate and the agency fee... but the food we ate on the way was hardly coming close to the 200k altogether. And there shouldn't be an agency fee because this tour is advertised as FREE! We felt coherced to pay this amount and even though the food was amazing and the tour guide (Emily -Nhi-) did a great job, this detail left us very disappointed.
It was a pity Sang was unwell. I originally booked for the Saturday, that was cancelled due to illness so I rebooked for my next free evening, the Monday, then that was cancelled as sang was still unwell. Obviously someone cannot help being unwell, but surely Guru Walks could temporarily suspend booking tours if a guide is ill. I didn’t realise the cancellation until I’d turned up for the tour as I hadn’t had chance to look at my emails so it was a big disappointment.
