Ivan was an excellent guide who was very knowledgeable. He spoke very good English and made his tour interesting and fun. We had previously walked through the areas covered on the tour but Ivan showed us so many features that you otherwise wouldn't see or know about. His knowledge of the Jewish history in Rome was amazing and he pointed out right at the beginning that this was a history lesson, not a political forum. There happened to be a protest march during our tour and Ivan took our safety seriously, although it was a peaceful protest. He was attentive to his audience.
