Our experience with Hakim in Kuala Lumpur was nothing short of exceptional, easily one of the best guides I’ve ever had, and I’ve done many tours in cities all over the world. From the very beginning, Hakim stood out. Even though we were a large group, he somehow managed to learn everyone’s name right away and made a genuine effort to speak with each person during the tour, showing real interest in our backgrounds and stories. That personal touch made a huge difference. The tour itself was fantastic. He took us through different neighborhoods in central Kuala Lumpur, not just the main landmarks, giving us a much deeper understanding of the city. His knowledge is incredible, he shared countless stories, historical insights, and local anecdotes, all in a way that was engaging and easy to follow. Hakim is clearly very intelligent, with an impressive memory, and the fact that he has lived in different countries makes him even more relatable and easy to connect with. He speaks multiple languages and communicates effortlessly with everyone. Despite being originally from Borneo, his knowledge of Kuala Lumpur is flawless. He also made the experience very interactive, he took us to try typical local drinks, explained how the metro system works, and later sent us a huge list of recommendations that was incredibly helpful for the rest of our stay. He made sure we had time to explore places like Central Market at our own pace, shared interesting anecdotes throughout, and even took the time to take great photos of us with the Petrona Towers. And to make the experience absolutely perfect, he even reserved a table for us at one of the best rooftops in the city with stunning views of the Petronas Tower, something we would have never managed on our own. Without a doubt, the best guide in all Asia! This tour didn’t just meet expectations, it completely elevated our experience of Kuala Lumpur and made us fall in love with the city.
