It was a great experience. I joined this tour with a Moroccan friend who lives in Casablanca, and we both found it very interesting and enjoyable. We learned about the city’s history, the reasons behind its layout, the French influence, and Morocco’s path to independence. We walked quite a bit and ended the tour at the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque. Even though Casablanca is not as tourist-oriented as Marrakech or Tangier, this walking tour gave me a very positive impression of the city. The next day, I even returned to the mosque for the guided tour for non-Muslims, which I also highly recommend.
