We loved our walk around Khiva! It helped us understand both the political and cultural history of the place. Farhod made sure we were comfortable on a hot sunny day and also left us with some great recommendations for the evening. Definitely a must-do in Khiva.
I thought Farhod was a great guide, and his walking tour of Khiva had just the right balance of historical and anecdotal information. I felt as though I learnt lots but wasn't 'overloaded' with facts. Farhod pointed out and explained some really interesting features of the sites we visited, which I would otherwise not have known from my own research or my guidebook. The pace was perfect, with plenty of opportunity for photos, and it was a nice sized group (9 in total). Highly recommended.
I canceled the tour because I was the only one attending. On the positive side, the cancellation was about five hours before, so I was able to arrange another tour.
A lovely tour. Farhod was very knowledgeable and spoke good english. He took us around all the must-see sites. I would strongly recommend booking a tour with him.
