We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Mohamed on our GuruWalk! As luck would have it, the tour ended up being just the two of us, so we enjoyed the incredible bonus of a private tour. Mohamed was everything you could hope for in a guide—friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. This tour gave us an excellent introduction to the city from a local. Our guru had a lovely balance of giving us the historical context of the city and prominent leaders who shaped the city; showcasing some of the many artisanal products that are manufactured in the region, a bit of the history of the products, and manufacturing processes; suggestions on places of interests that we couldn't cover on the tour but should consider visiting during our trip; places to eat and/or have a drink; he even took us to an art gallery to highlight their culture of protesting among younger generations (explained from a neutral point of view!). We are so glad we booked this tour and highly recommend it. We also recommend scheduling a morning tour as it's not too hot and the group size is smaller.
