We spent a morning with Alejandro, who gave a very thoughtful walking tour. It was interesting, well paced, and varied, and included a history summary, walk through the market, beautiful sites, and street art. For travellers that speak English only, Alejandro has an excellent grasp of the language and was very funny! Would highly recommend.
Our tour with Katy was great! She is full of information about Santiago’s history, and we learned a lot.
We took an English tour with Gonzalo, and agreed it was the best free walking tour we’ve taken so far. Gonzalo was warm and entertaining, and he gave us a great overview of Valparaiso, complete with safety knowledge and suggestions on where to eat and what to continue exploring. The tour also included free trips up and down the funiculars and a treat, which was an unexpected but pleasant surprise! Would highly recommend.
We ended up joining the tour after doing an earlier history tour and this did not disappoint. Bruce introduced us to many foods and places that we never would have found, and the food total was very inexpensive. He offered to show us more, and had we not been so full, we would have continued! Would recommend.
An interesting and unique tour of Lima’s history. Bruce also offered options along the way (e.g., opportunities to go or not go into churches, recommending snacks, etc). He showed us a great place for Pisco sours afterwards as well. Would recommend!
