We visited a Hutong which was nice to get an insight into this way of life, the stops to do some calligraphy and enjoy some street food were a nice addition. I’d have liked a bit more on the history, conflicts etc but I guess part of the issue is the sheer scale of Beijing. The tour ends in a good spot to visit Tiananmen square too

This is fantastic! A real journey of discovery of the darker sides of London and empires past, Justin is a wonderful guide who delivered the content with the right amount of humour and respect for the issues concerned. He’s an excellent orator and really brought it to life. Would do more of his tours if I had the time.

The guide did not reply to messages and did not show up. Did the free tour inside the fort at the visitor centre instead. Disappointed this happened, there were two others also waiting

This is a brilliant tour! Dani is a fantastic guide who combines amazing knowledge with a sense of humour, she is a fantastic leader and storyteller. A really thorough and informative tour, all questions answered and she took time to give suggestions to people. More than 5 stars!

Really enjoyable tour packed which covered a lot of the history of Georgetown whilst exploring different areas. The guru presented well in an engaging and effective way: thank you!
