I'm a history buff, with a strong interest in European and French history. I've lived for several years in Paris - at a short walking distance from Montmartre. I've lived in six European countries and visited all of them. I speak fluently English, as I'm British educated. I am a Norwegian-born Italian.

The best tour we had in Paris .Even our teenagers were involved and got through three hours of information,stories and walking .
The tour was fantastic. It's been a while since I didn't enjoy a tour that much. It was supposed to be 2h15 but it last longer, I assumed because we enjoyed so much that we took pleasure asking Kristen more details and also chatting in general. The tour was really informative without being boring. It was consistent and focused on a precise period of history (16th to 19th Century more or less) and a specific area of Paris, which is really great to learn deeply. Which is what I expect from a tour. Kristen was really aware of what he was saying and we could easily go deeper into subject with him. Highly recommended !
Kristen was extremely knowledgeable about the history, architecture & artists who lived in Montmartre. We chose this particular tour because we wanted to be part of a small group & to avoid the really busy tourist areas which is what this tour delivered.
