José had really great energy and asked us if we needed to stop for water or bathroom breaks etc. He also asked us midway how was the pace and quality of information and all of that being offered rather than the guests interjecting with an inconvenience, was appreciated. He truly took us around many neighbourhoods I would have not gone on my own, and supplemented this with a high level of knowledge. I was impressed by this tour and I would book José specifically as a tour guide again and I'm also now keen to book GuruWalk in other cities.

Jose was really a knowledgeable and engaging guide. He ensured everyone could hear clearly and frequently checked in to confirm that the pace was comfortable for the group (there is lots of walking). Amazing tour! Really helps you get to know the city, including history and present developments. Includes a lot of locations which you most likely wouldn't find as a tourist. I do a walking tour in almost every city I visit and this was one of the best ones I ever took part in, highly recommended!

We were surprised José did not cancel the tour as it was just my husband and me. Our tour the day before was canceled because there were fewer than 4 people but José decided to go ahead with ours today so we wouldn't be canceled twice. Private tour! We did walk A LOT but we are used to this and we really enjoyed seeing so many different parts of the city, getting to take the metro and the walk near the water - all of which we never would have done on our own. Jose was great with answering questions as we would segue to other topics. My husband loves history and it was a very enjoyable evening - ending with the awesome view at the top of the Marriott with a drink and more conversation. He spent so much time with us! If you are up to the walking, this was a great way to see the various aspects of Panama City. Since we are staying in Casco Viejo and had not left it, this was perfect for us. Gracias, José!
