Ulises

Hi! I’m Ulises 😊, an official tour guide in Valencia and also a high school teacher. With a name like Ulises, I guess it was inevitable 😄: I’ve always been fascinated by travel, adventures and great stories. I love discovering new places and, above all, being amazed by the stories behind them. After exploring different countries and cultures, there’s something I enjoy even more now: showing other travellers what makes me love Valencia. Maybe being a teacher has something to do with it, but I’ve never been a big fan of endless lists of names and dates. I prefer stories, questions, anecdotes, games, memory tricks and the occasional unexpected reference to The Lord of the Rings or Mickey Mouse to make history easy to understand and hard to forget. But most importantly, you’re on holiday. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions, joining in, having a laugh and enjoying Valencia, not feeling like you’ve come to a history class. So come with curiosity and ready to have a good time. Let me show you the Valencia I love. 🙂
