Good amount of walking and really nice information! You end the tour at a really good spot for coffee. Nice and enthusiastic guide!
Unfortunately one of the lesser nice walking tours I've done and quite far below my expectations. Even though the information itself was quite interesting and our guru was sweet and did her absolute best, it was just way too much and too long... :( The tour was supposed to last 2,5 hours, but took more than 3 hours, and 5 more minutes became 15 more minutes. I felt too impolite to drop out earlier. We walked through one or two streets in the old centre of Hoi An, maybe a few minutes in total, and for the rest of the time we sat down or stood still. Although I was really trying to pay attention and love to learn about history and culture, I cannot remember much relevant information, which is a shame! Some improvement would make it a lovely tour :(
I was positively surprised by this walking tour. I had already visited some main highlights of the city, but this tour brought me to some new, more hidden places, and I learnes new things. Our guru, Helen, was very enthusiastic and open to answering any questions. The fact that you can give them whatever you feel like afterwards feels very freeing and nice. I definitely recommend doing a walking tour with them. Maybe it's even better to do it at the beginning of your visit to HCMC though as they give a lot of tips for activities and food afterwards. Only point of improvement is maybe to walk a bit more! We were listening a lot, which is nice, but we stayed more or less in the same place, the centre of district 1.
