Sono irlandese di nascita, ma residente a San Francisco da oltre 30 anni. Adoro la mia città adottiva e mi piace mostrarla sia alla gente del posto che ai turisti. Spero che lascerete la città con la stessa passione che ho io per questo posto meraviglioso!
Eine absolut großartige Tour! Greg war super nett, locker und sehr unterhaltsam. Wir sind bei Regen gestartet – aber es hat sich total gelohnt, dranzubleiben: Das Wetter klarte auf und wir wurden am Aussichtspunkt mit einer fantastischen Sicht belohnt. Anfangs hatten wir etwas Sorge, dass die Tour zu viele Stufen haben oder zu anstrengend sein könnte, aber das war überhaupt kein Problem: Greg hat sehr auf das individuelle Tempo geachtet, sodass sich jeder wohlfühlen konnte. Ein echtes Highlight: Greg hat während der Tour Fotos gemacht und diese anschließend über einen Link zur Verfügung gestellt. So konnte man sich ganz auf seine spannenden Erklärungen und die Umgebung konzentrieren. Besonders aufmerksam war auch das kleine Geschenk am Ende (eine Sukkulente oder eine bereits frankierte Postkarte). Und seine Infos zu Erdbeben waren im Nachhinein für uns extrem wertvoll & beruhigend: In der folgenden Nacht ereignete sich tatsächlich ein Erdbeben (Stärke 4,6). Absolut empfehlenswert – auch bei Regen, davon bitte nicht abhalten lassen! 👍 ……………………….. An absolutely fantastic tour! Greg was super friendly, relaxed, and very entertaining. We started out in the rain – but it was totally worth sticking with it: the weather cleared up, and we were rewarded with an amazing view at the lookout point. At first, we were a bit concerned that the tour might involve too many stairs or be too strenuous, but that was absolutely no problem. Greg paid great attention to the pace of each participant, so everyone felt comfortable. A real highlight: Greg took photos during the tour and shared them afterward via a link. This allowed us to fully focus on his fascinating explanations and the surroundings. Another thoughtful touch was the small gift at the end (a succulent or a pre-stamped postcard). His information about earthquakes also turned out to be extremely valuable and reassuring – especially since a 4.6-magnitude earthquake actually occurred the following night. Highly recommended – even in the rain, don’t let that stop you! 👍
Greg is a superb people person & you should join this walk as much for the offbeat nature of the trip as for Greg’s entertainment value. Loved this journey around places we would never have found and enjoyed stories we would never have heard. Point to note: We almost missed this trip because Guru have a trip over the other side of town which over ran. Hope trip times can be changed for the future.
We like to see new places via walking tours and Greg's Haight-Ashbury one was one of the best, if not the best, we've been on. Kids and adults enjoyed the itinerary, and being able to relive it afterwards with the ... er, Relive movie was a cool extra. Thank you!
