This tour was fascinating! I learned more in two hours from Greg than I could have through months of research. The tour brought the 60's music era to life. I was impressed with how he incorporated photos, music and interviews into the walk-making history come to life. I loved the secret stories along the way and all of the people that he highlighted including Hell's Angels, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, The Grateful Dead, The Spreckel's family, Robin Williams, The lady who invented bell bottoms, the physician that started the free clinic on Haight street and SO many other creative individuals. He even sent us a video of the tour noting the locations and sharing photos taken along the way. I wish that I was staying in San Francisco longer so I could take more tours (or do this one a second time). I highly recommend it to locals and adult visitors. 11 out of 10 stars :)
Great tour and interesting facts as well as very useful information not directly related to the tour. Pity that Karl the Fog had rolled in to obscure the views, but nevertheless it was a very interesting tour

Greg was a wonderful tour guide. He came prepared with sunscreen and water, which was useful since it was unusually warm and sunny. He provided great information about the area and the stairway art. At the end of the tour he gifted us succulents from his garden and a pre-stamped postcard. Would definitely take on of his tours again!
