We are three licensed tour guides with a background in history and archaeology. We were born in Istanbul, raised in Istanbul, and educated in tourist guiding in Istanbul. Our passion is to guide you through the captivating journey of Turkish culture and cuisine. We will provide you with opportunities to enjoy the magnificence of experiencing the depths of Istanbul, which is the threshold of three main civilizations: Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman.
We really enjoyed our tour with Halil! We were the only ones who booked (probably because of the bad weather) but even though we were with only six people Halil didn’t have a problem with doing the tour. He showed us cool places and the real insides of Istanbul. He had some nice recommendations and knew much about the history.
Halil is a historian and a true fountain of knowledge. Taking a tour with him is like jumping on the Orient Express of history and being thrown back in time into the fascinating Ottoman world. I totally recommend taking a tour with him.
