We are three licensed tour guides with a background in history and archaeology. We were born in Istanbul, raised in Istanbul, and educated in tourist guiding in Istanbul. Our passion is to guide you through the captivating journey of Turkish culture and cuisine. We will provide you with opportunities to enjoy the magnificence of experiencing the depths of Istanbul, which is the threshold of three main civilizations: Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman.

A not to be missed tour full of interesting information about more recent Istanbul history, with a few surprises thrown into the mix. A great alternative to balance out the ancient history overload of mosques and palaces. Quaint out of the way arcades, imposing 19th to 20th century architecture, christian churches tucked away behind bustling streets. Halil provided real experiences of local life, not just descriptions. A definite highlight of our time in Istanbul.
We don’t take walking tours to be “ entertained” ( thus the four stars for that). We learned a great deal, thereby we appreciate the culture, the architecture, and the Turkish history much more than previously. Therefore, it was a great walking tour! Thank you, Halil.
