What a fantastic tour! It was fun and informative and took me to places I would have never visited by myself. Susanna is a great guide - she knows so much about Hong Kong and its history and conveys it in a really entertaining way. I loved this tour and will do another with Susanna next time I’m back in Hong Kong.
Booked solo and turned out to be the only tour guest! Had Sue all to myself and she was fantastic. Her personal and comedic touch really made it memorable. This tour is a great intro for a newbie to HK/HK Island, going through the history, demography and culture as well as some key sites.
We booked this tour, which was supposed to happen on 11 April at 12:00 on GuruWalk. However, KS sent us a message saying that we had booked a different tour. However, by the time we realised she had changed the title of the tour, it was too late. When I called her, she said that the tour we had booked was already happening and that there was a glitch with GuruWalk. We were disappointed as it was our last day in Hong Kong. Moreover, KS kind of demands a certain amount of money to be paid in kind of a pressuring way. Everything felt a bit odd.
Thanks for your energy, KS! It's been fun and interesting to walk through a side of Hong Kong that not many tourists know about. I loved your explanations and how you brought your personal experience into the tour, to help us understand the context of the city.
This trip was perfect. I’ve been staying in Guangdong for years, so I feel a little embarrassed that I don’t come to Hong Kong more often. This was my second time here, and the tour was amazing. I got to experience Hong Kong culture and its special characteristics that are different from the mainland for the first time. Our tour guide was extremely professional and charismatic, and she really impressed us deeply. She shared so much knowledge that we had never known before, and chatted with us like a friend. She told us about Hong Kong’s history, culture, and its unique connections. We really enjoyed this trip with everyone. We hope to join again if we have the chance in the future. We also wish our guide and her family happiness, joy, and good health always.
