Great tour. Harshit is a great and knowledgeable guide. We had fun and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Rome
Thijs was fantastic!! Positive, kind, attentive to group, and adaptable to a wide range of ages. Definitely a MUST when in Rome!
This Rome City Center Walking Tour (Trevi, Pantheon & 11+ attractions) was an absolute highlight of my visit. Harshad was outstanding—his energy, passion, and depth of knowledge elevated the entire experience. Each location was brought to life through his engaging storytelling and clear, insightful explanations. The tour was perfectly paced, seamlessly covering key landmarks while keeping it both informative and enjoyable throughout. It never felt like a routine tour, but rather a thoughtfully curated journey through Rome’s rich history. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a refined, immersive, and truly memorable introduction to the Eternal City.
If you enjoy history, I DO NOT recommend this tour. I took 4 tours in Rome, this was BY FAR the worst of them. The history content is REALLY poor. Let me give some specific examples: At the Trajan's column he spent 10 minutes explaining that the sequence of images was used to tell people about Trajan's victory and that it was the very first precursor of media (as if there weren't similar older monuments in Ancient Greece, Egypt, or Mesopotamia) and that it ultimately led to current media (¿?). 10 minutes chattering about how this is the precursor of instagram reels and no information about Trajan himself, the Dacian Wars, or how the Roman Empire was at the time. Same case for Trajan's market. 10 minutes claiming that this was the first shopping mall ever but really no objective information. He even got some facts wrong, saying that this is where italian cuisine originated, whereas it is known that pasta didn't exist until MUCH later. Another example: barely any information about the Pantheon, he talked in a very shallow way of its architecture (and didn't mention any interesting thing like the use of cassettoni), and said nothing about its history, about who Agripa was or his connection to Roma's first emperor, or his role in one of the most important battles in history (Battle of Actium). More WRONG FACTS: he said that Rea Silvia, the princess who gave birth to Romulus and Remus, fled from Troy, whereas in reality the one who fled Troy is Eneas, of whom she is a descendant. I could go on and on. I insist, if you like history this is a waste of time. If not, it's okay because he takes you through many landmarks. The only reason why he has such good reviews is because the guide is very energetic and keeps the audience engaged, and mostly because most people have no clue about history, so the few historical facts he says are new for them. I am not the kind of person who gives negative reviews, as a matter of fact I mostly leave 5 star reviews, but if you're in Rome for a few days and want to learn about Roman history this is a fair warning as you won't want to waste a morning with this tour.
