My name is Gabriel Pech, journalist by profession, history buff and guide for 4 years in the city of Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. I speak the Mayan language, and also English. For more than 10 years I have been promoting the use and customs of the Mayan culture in the state. This food tour was fast paced and well organized. Gabriel phoned ahead to a couple places to ensure we would have food and seats when we arrived. He had great suggestions and gave us a nice selection of typical foods to try. 👍 I would recommend this tour!

Excellent tour with Gabriel, his english is perfekt, the tour was intresting and informative with different aspect of the mayan life, gastronomy and culture, a lot of good tips about restaurants and other places to visit in Merida and nearby.
