My name is Gabriel Pech, journalist by profession, history buff and guide for 4 years in the city of Mérida, Yucatán, Mexico. I speak the Mayan language, and also English. For more than 10 years I have been promoting the use and customs of the Mayan culture in the state. Very fun, lots of humor, learned many new things about the city. I have been on tours where the historical context is deeper but what Gabriel did cover he clearly presented.
