Mein Name ist Gabriel Pech, von Beruf Journalist, Geschichtsinteressierter und seit 4 Jahren Reiseleiter in der Stadt Mérida, Yucatán, Mexiko. Ich spreche die Maya-Sprache und auch Englisch. Seit mehr als 10 Jahren fördere ich die Nutzung und Bräuche der Maya-Kultur im Staat. Gabriel was a fantastic guide. He shared his knowledge with a sense of humor and honesty, not shying away from naming the hard things, when the time was right. I would totally recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get an understanding of Merida from a local Mayan perspective.
I did not expect too much of a free walking tour, however it was so elaborate and informative! Gabriel was a very friendly and professional tour guide! Enjoyed it very much!!

We really enjoyed our tour with Gabriel - he looked after us as we moved around the busy city centre, we saw some great key sites and learned lots about Mayan culture, food, the language and the city of Merida. It was our first morning in the city and a great way to start off our trip.
