Since I was young I have been interested in history and the whys of things, in understanding processes and being part of the changes. I have been a tourism business administrator since 2019 and since 2017 I have been working as a tour guide mostly in commune 13 of Medellín. I have always been interested in showing the authenticity of the city and the processes of social transformation. I like to share experiences, teach and learn, and raise awareness through the history of people or places. My life experience has created in me the thought of giving and receiving with love and sincerity.
Andres said: “we don’t do the tour with less than four people” one hour before our tour was scheduled to begin, then he said we can arrange a private tour if you’d like and this is the amount I charge for two people (a bit higher than the usual) and when we said we’re not interested anymore in the tour he mysteriously said: “two more people have signed on we can do it”. This seems like scam and very disappointing from what we are expecting

Una experiencia inmersiva y auténtica. Hicimos el recorrido que incluye teleférico, Graffiti Tour y, lo mejor de todo, las zonas no turísticas. La perspectiva cambia totalmente cuando dejas atrás la zona comercial y te adentras con un guía local a conocer la verdadera historia de resiliencia de la Comuna 13. Si te gustan los datos de como se ha ido transformando la Comuna 13. Sus clases sociales y su manera de vivir. este tour es para ti. Hay que caminar mucho y con tantos datos puede ser un poco cansado. Las vistas desde el teleférico son impresionantes y el arte urbano está en cada rincón. Recomiendo este enfoque profundo para entender la transformación social de Medellín. ¡Gracias por mostrarnos el corazón del barrio!"
Had a super fun comuna 13 city tour with Andres. Andres is a wealth of knowledge and always happy to inform and make relevant suggestions of other places and activities to visit in Medellin. Andres took us not only through places of interest but also through regular neighbourhoods, allowing us to truly immerse into local culture. Highly recommended for those looking for a taste of real Medellin and Colombia. 😉👍
