Hello, dear walkers! Zagreb is my hometown, which I never leave, except when I travel somewhere like you do :)
So, I am a true local guide.
In 2009 I became a licensed tourist guide for Zagreb city and Zagreb County.
Since then, I have been conveying my love for Zagreb to people from all over the world, presenting the city through interesting stories and facts, with fun, but in a professional way.
As a big fan of travel, I got a chance to visit many countries on almost all continents, but every time upon return to my city, I fall in love with it again.
Marina was FULL of information, and delivered it in an interesting fashion. Zagreb, quite frankly, is a more industrial/commercial city, and less "steeped" in history or historical sites usually found in other cities. And of the ones that are present, maybe over half of them are under renovation, covered wholly or partially by scaffolding, fabric, with construction trailers, fencing, and equipment around them. Marina worked around all of the obstacles, and still thrived and presented her tour effectively and enthusiastically.
We love Marina’s personal stories in connection with some parts of the Zagreb history. It’s so beautiful to hear how a local live and love the city.
We had a fantastic walking tour with Marina in Zagreb! She was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic, bringing the city’s history and culture to life with engaging stories and fun facts. Marina shared plenty of interesting insights that you wouldn’t find in a guidebook, and her recommendations for places to eat and visit were spot on
Amazing person, so much information, extremely knowledgeable, helpful and flexible with the tour. She engaged everyone’s interests and made the whole group feel like their trip was x100 better. I couldn’t recommend this tour enough
Marina was amazing. A group cancelled at last minute but it didn't stop Marina for doing the tour top notch. She double check what places I have done before and created a personalized tour for me. 100% recommended!
